The following key team members make up Todae Solar's management team and represent a synergistic combination of technical, financial, managerial and entrepreneurial expertise:

 

Adam B. Davis - Non Executive Director

Adam joined Todae in early 2008, merging his keen interests in business and the environment. He brings to the board his skills and experience in managing and supporting high-growth businesses, financial analysis and corporate development. After completing his degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Adam founded what grew to become a leading financial services education company - Tribeca Learning Limited. Listed on the stock exchange in 2000, Adam was its managing director and chief executive for a period of 6 years before the company was bought out by an international education conglomerate. He has subsequently played a part in developing several business concepts into successful business ventures and has experience in property development, both in Australia and offshore. Adam's plays an integral role with Todae Solar in providing advice and guidance on business growth and corporate development initiatives and participating in value-add projects.

 

David Solsky - Non Executive Director

David Solsky is a successful entrepreneur with over 15 years experience in technology related startups. Most recently, he co-founded CarbonSystems, a leading global provider of enterprise energy and carbon management software via its operations in Sydney, London and New York. CarbonSystems was recently named by independent industry analysts as a top 10 global provider of such software. Previous startups also include the highly successful Databank, a leading Australian provider of secure offsite data storage and data protection services. Prior to his technology ventures, David spent seven years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Corporate Finance and Assurance Divisions, delivering professional services to some of Australia’s largest corporations. David has a strong personal commitment to sustainability and outside of his executive role as CEO of CarbonSystems, he advises a number of businesses in the “green” sector including Todae Solar.

 

Danin Kahn - CEO

Danin has always had a passion for the environment and entrepreneurship. His first business venture saw him join the corporate world, building a successful online strategy business, which grew to become one of Australia's most successful digital agencies and serviced the online requirements of many of Australia’s largest companies including Nestle, AMP, ING, Telstra and many more. It was during this time that he became increasingly aware of the neglect many companies and their staff had for the Environment when at work.
Following this, Danin began working as a business consultant and researching how he could focus his energy on helping consumers and businesses to adjust to more sustainable practices. Todae was his answer.
Danin has successfully provided sustainability and renewable energy advice and solutions to Australia’s leading organisations, leaders and celebrities including Mirvac, Transfield, The National Trust, Malcolm Turnbull MP and Ian Thorpe to name a few. Danin has been quoted and published in over 100 articles regarding renewable energy and sustainability on ABC TV, Sky Business News, Foxtel, SMH, The Age, Daily Telegraph, The Australian and dozens more.
Danin makes sure he practices what he preaches by driving a hybrid car, running his house on solar power, using reusable cloth nappies on his child, growing his own fruit and vegetables and charging his i-Phone with a solar powered case. He has travelled in 43 countries over six continents.

 

Tirone Kahn - General Manager

Tirone has over 10 years of project management and operational experience working with some of Australia largest companies (Macquarie Bank, eBay Australia, Commonwealth Bank, Visy Australia, Toll Holdings and Google) in partner projects. In previous roles Tirone has managed a number of large teams and multi million dollar projects including managing a call centre of 45 staff for American Express and a workforce of 90 contractors for Australian Delivery Services. Tirone also spent 3 years working for an international trading company where he gained a wealth of experience in dealing with international supply and logistics.
Tirone overseas the operations of Todae Solar and ensures the smooth running of all business units nation wide.

 

William Hocking - CFO

Will has been the Chief Financial Officer of Todae Solar since early 2005. Will has worked in management and finance for large corporate organisations such as BT Australia, as well as owning and running his own businesses which have ranged from importing/exporting, wholesale/retail and the service industries. He has also worked as a Management Accountant for over 200 companies in Australia, and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Todae Solar.
He has a degree in Business (BBus), majoring in Accounting, an Advanced Management Certificate and is a Justice of the Peace.
