Solar Rebates in Canberra:
There are solar rebates in Canberra provided in the form of Renewable Energy Certificates, or 'RECs' (now known as STC's). Solar Credits apply to the first 1.5 kilowatts (kW) of capacity of the system installed. The pricing for RECs changes as they are a traded commodity but Todae Solar aims to get the best price for the RECs for your system to save you the most money.
Under the current Solar Credit Scheme, one REC is multiplied by 3, offering three times the dollar value.

Solar Feed in Tariff:
The Feed In Tariff is a government subsidy which pays owners of solar systems for the energy that their systems export to the electricity grid. Each individual State Government has its own Feed In Tariff. Currently in Canberra, the Western Australian residential net feed-in tariff scheme was suspended for new applications after exceeding the scheme capacity cap of 150 megawatts.
