Geelong High School has contracted Todae Solar to install a 100kW system on their rooftop in the coming months. The system is expected to produce 128,956kWh of energy in the first year of production and will cover approximately 32% of the School’s electricity bill. This system will help the School save hundreds of thousands of dollars over the life of the system and will join the dozens of installations Todae Solar has completed in Victoria.
The installation of this system will undoubtedly pique the interest of students and encourage learning and discussion on renewable energy and sustainability.
It will also will help the State move towards meeting the Victorian Renewable Energy Targets (VRET) of 25 percent renewable energy generation by 2020 and 40 percent by 2025. Todae Solar takes pride in enabling organisations to produce sustainable energy and look forward to more future projects in Victoria.
Todae Solar would like to congratulate Geelong High School on taking the first step to harnessing the benefits of solar.
